There is no other country in the world with a greater pub gathering tradition than London. As a city is one of the most vibrant and exciting on the planet – a real metropolis of people, ideas and frenetic energy. It is also a global capital of culture, music, education, fashion, politics, finance and trade. When you visit this magnificent city and you get tired from all the sightseeing, a pub is a perfect location for taking a break while enjoying a cold beer in an authentic atmosphere.

Since the early days when Charles Dickens was a regular guest at The George Inn and the “Devil’s Tavern” was a meeting place for pirates and body snatchers, many of London’s Famous Traditional Pubs have grown into a community with family friendly atmosphere. There are couple of things that make a traditional London pub. First and foremost a good pint, interesting stories connected with history and some original features. Having some tasty food and snacks to go along with a good glass of bear will not hurt either. It’s almost impossible to imagine London without pubs.
