After the goblins from the New Line Cinema tried to steal at least $150 millions from the J.R.R. Tolkien heirs, they reached a settlement over the payments from the movies based on the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. The settlement was very easy for reaching because trilogy earned 8 billions of US dollars. We do not know the terms of the settlement but it must be good for the both sides because now a new movie will be shot, based on the other J.R.R. Tolkien book called “The Hobbit”.

The new movie will have same title as Tolkien’s book, and it is about journeys to the Lonely Mountain of Bilbo Baggins, the uncle of Frodo, accompanied by a group of dwarves trying to get back a treasure taken from them by the dragon Smaug.

Same like the “Lord of the rings” in the new movie “The Hobbit” there will be great massive scenes of battles and the main battle will be 10 or 15 minutes. This battle is called “The Battle of Five Armies”. And guesses what?! – There will be 5 armies involved in the battle. Beside this battle there will be some others good scenes like fights with giant spiders, trolls, elves, wargs and even a dragon will show up…

“Hobbit” will be in the cinemas in 2011 and probably there will be two sequels. If you can’t wait till 2011 and you want to find out more then we suggest reading the book “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien.
